Bobby Ray Simmons Jr., better known as rap artist B.o.B., stopped by campus on Tuesday to speak to a class in the CFA about the ins and outs of the modern music industry. The recording artist was also accompanied by the senior vice president of programming at iheartMedia Memphis, Devin Steel. The two specifically discussed how music consumers prefer to find new sounds in 2017.
