Penny Hardaway picked up his second transfer of the cycle in Western Kentucky guard Julius Thedford, Thedford announced on Instagram Monday.

Thedford average 12.4 points per game and 3.8 rebounds in his freshman season as a Hilltopper. At 6'4" Thedford profiles as a combo guard, and he shot 37% from three last season.

Thedford played high school basketball at Cordova and Whitehaven. He joins Quante Berry, a Temple transfer, in this transfer class.

The elephant in the room for coach Hardaway's crew remains PJ Haggerty, who has not entered the transfer portal, but will likely fetch north of $3 million in NIL money. Haggerty, a consensus All-American and the AAC player of the year, would be the most pivotal piece on next season's roster should he return.
