After earning two home victories against Tulsa and Temple, Memphis basketball moved up to No. 14 in the week 15 Associated Press(AP) poll.

Memphis (20-4, 10-1) is on a seven-game winning streak, and they have seen slow, but steady movement up the polls as a result.

Five of Memphis' past opponents this season are in the poll as well, highlighted by the return of Clemson, who comes in at No. 23. The Clemson Tigers beat at the time No. 2 Duke on Saturday.

No. 11 Michigan State, No. 19 Ole Miss, No. 21 Missouri, and No. 22 Mississippi State are the other ranked teams that Memphis has faced this year.

Memphis' computer numbers have dipped because the Tigers have struggled to win by large margins in American Athletic Conference play, but if Memphis continues to win, the AP poll will not punish them.

The No. 14 Tigers will look to make it eight straight wins on Thursday night in Tampa Bay against South Florida. The game will be on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. CT.
