The 2018 NFL season is officially in the books. The New England Patriots have been crowned Super Bowl champions for the sixth time after they defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3. It was the lowest-scoring Super Bowl out of the 53 that have been played. Despite what many people refer to as a “snoozefest,†the game still had its highlights. A few University of Memphis students were asked about their favorite moments of the game.

-Grant Caldwell

Super Bowl Walk & Talk 2

“The game was really boring, so I liked when it ended. It was probably the most boring Super Bowl I’ve ever seen. The halftime show was good though. I liked that part.”

-Brady Johnston

Super Bowl Walk & Talk 3

“Stephon Gilmore’s interception to basically seal the deal was probably my favorite moment. I also wanted so bad for Julian Edelman to win the MVP, so I was happy when he did.”

-Tucker Pitman

Super Bowl Walk & Talk 4

“Rob Gronkowski’s catch in the fourth quarter to set up Sony Michel’s touchdown was great, but the best part of the game was the new NFL punt record. Johnny Hekker of the Rams kicked one that went 65 yards.”

 -Burt Casanova

Super Bowl Walk & Talk 5

“The former Memphis Tiger Stephen Gostkowski kicking the field goal at the end to put the nail in the coffin was the best moment. It was sort of symbolic.”

 -Caleb Gaia
