There will be auditions for a fashion show in the University Center Poplar Room, March 17. The auditions are from 5 to 8 p.m. The fashion show is sponsored by Fashion Moguls Memphis one of the student organization on campus.
Dyne’esha Bradley, a senior and president of the organization, said the attire for the auditions is semi-casual.
“Men are required to wear jeans and a white t-shirt with dress shoes,” she said. “If you do not have dress shoes then wear appropriate tennis shoes. Women should wear white t-shirts and jeans with comfortable heels.”
Bradley said the organization is looking for models for the October show.
They wanted models for the show whether the models have experience or not.
“We are not looking for anybody of any specific height or weight,” she said. “If you can come out and you can just walk and show confidence, that’s how we pick and choose what models we want. We don’t pick and choose based on race, size, height or anything like that. It is based on how you walk. Its pretty much a quick process, you sign in, you walk and walk back and you can just go ahead and leave after that.”
