Delegates from five states were up for grabs on Tuesday in the second biggest single-day delegate haul of the primary season.
Florida, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio all held their primaries with the majority of the victories on both sides of the aisle going to the frontrunners, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
On the Democratic side, Clinton took home victories in Florida, North Carolina and Ohio.
Victories in these three states garnered Clinton at least 253 more delegates, while her opponent, Sen. Bernie Sanders, will add at least 124 more delegates.
On the Republican side, Trump added several more victories, with the lone upset going to Ohio governor John Kasich, who took home a major victory in his home state.
While Kasich remains well behind Trump, the victory nonetheless gives hopes to some establishment Republicans, who view a contested convention as the best chance to derail Trump, who added at least 150 more delegates to his tally.
At press time, the winners in Illinois and Missouri were not officially declared.
