The end of the semester means final projects, term papers and exams. For University of Memphis art students receiving their BFA's this spring, these last few weeks of school are a culmination of their hard work on the quest towards one-of-a-kind art.
There are more students involved with the BFA program this semester than usual, according to David Horan, professor of photography.
"Each student took a number of different approaches," Horan said in regards to the diverse artwork currently lining the walls of Jones Hall.
Considering the amount of students involved this year, the Art Department decided to split the projects into two showcases. The first of which may have ended Wednesday night; however, a new batch of photographs can be seen beginning tonight at 6 p.m., and closing Thursday the 20th.
The photos are featured in the Jones Hall Gallery, as well as room 103 of the art building.
