Nicole Crawford reported to police that she had part of her vehicle's license plate stolen. Crawford told police that prior to going to work the registration tag was on her vehicle, and when she returned it was missing. Estimated loss was $100.
Saturday, Sept. 17
7 p.m.
Police responded to a theft from building call at the Student Fitness and Recreation Center. Junji Kamiya told police that he and his friends were playing basketball at the SFRC at 4 p.m. While playing, Kamiya noticed a young male near his items. The man told the group playing basketball that one of their phones was ringing. The group thanked him and told him they would get the phone later. As the group finished playing, Kamiya noticed his wallet was missing. Estimated loss was $58.
Sunday, Sept. 18
12:25 p.m.
Jesse Kiestler reported to police that he parked his vehicle in the Southern lot around 10 p.m. on Sept. 17. Upon returning to his vehicle at 12:15 p.m. on Sept. 18, he found that the left rear tire had been stolen from his vehicle. Estimated loss was $80.
Sunday, Sept. 18
12:30 p.m.
Police responded to a vandalism call on Patterson. Emily McCormack told police that she parked her vehicle in the Patterson lot on Sept. 16 at around 5 p.m. When she returned on Sept. 18 at 12:30 p.m., she found that both passenger tires on her vehicle had been slashed. Estimated loss was $300.
Monday, Sept. 19
5:45 a.m.
Police responded to a simple assault and domestic violence call at the Carpenter parking lot. A female student told police that she and her boyfriend had gotten into a fight. She had scratches on her left arm and hand and the male had a cut under his right eye. Both parties were deemed mutual combatants and arrested for domestic violence.
Tuesday, Sept. 20
4:15 p.m.
Renita Parks reported to police that she parked her vehicle in the Zach Curlin lot at 1 p.m. on Sept. 20. When she returned at 4:15 p.m., she noticed that the detachable face to her radio was missing. Parks told police that she placed the face in the case and placed the case under the driver's seat. The radio was still in the vehicle. Estimated loss $50.
