Police responded to a call from Robert Bell, who said that someone had cut the renewal sticker off of his license plate. The incident took place between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. while his car was parked in the Central parking lot. The expiration date had also been cut out.

When Lakeisha Pearson found out from one of her sorority sisters that a picture of the Zeta Phi Beta Greek lettering had been taken off a bulletin board in The University Center, she called the police. The lettering was in a white painted wooden frame, which was worth about $50. The police did not see anything else on the board missing or damaged.

9:34 p.m.
Brooks Stevens advised police that between 8:10 and 9:30 someone broke into her car. During that time her front and rear passenger windows were broken. The control panel of her car stereo had been taken, which made the radio incapable of playing anything. She told police that she didn't know if anything else was taken. The estimated loss was $250.

2:00 a.m.
Jonathon Griffin informed police that his license plate had been stolen off of his car. The car, a 1987 Chevrolet Celebrity, was parked in the Child Care Lot when the incident occurred. The stolen property will cost Griffin $30.

8:00 p.m.
Police received a call from Pamela Benton, who said that parts of her car had been stolen. Benton's car, which was parked in Lot 15, was stripped of its side molding, side view mirror and part of the running board. The estimated loss was $300.
Tuesday, April 5
11:00 a.m.
Ashley Lyons reported to police that her mother's car, which Lyons parked in the north Zach Curlin lot, had been vandalized. The car, a 1999 Nissan, had its rear right window broken, and the rear half of the chrome trim had been torn off and left on the ground. Nothing appeared to be stolen, and there was no evidence the criminal ever entered the vehicle. Police said that was probably because the car's alarm went off.

8:30 p.m.
Police responded to a call placed by Dentrice Thomas, who was at Richardson Towers. Thomas told police that her boyfriend, Xavier Brooks, had stolen her cell phone, which was worth $100, and left campus.
