Police responded to a theft call made from south campus by Alicia Rice. When police arrived to her location, she reported that her boyfriend, Jonathan Barnes, had left her apartment with a Playstation and several DVDs. Rice claims the incident happened after she and Barnes got into an argument. She accused Barnes of taking the items without permission. The estimated loss for the property is $439.

Kimberly Foster called police after noticing $80 had been stolen out of her purse. Foster told police she had been on the third floor computer lab in Ball Hall when she couldn't find her purse. The purse was at the front desk, but when she inspected its contents, she noticed the money missing.

Rosalie Elia reported to police after flagging down a cruiser that she saw Rodney Neely leave the law building with her wallet. She said the suspect walked to the Holiday Inn on Central. Police found Neely lying on the sidewalk. He told police that his implant defibrillator had activated and requested an ambulance. Two ambulances arrived at the scene where the officer asked the suspect if he had been at the law library. Neely told police he was there looking up law information, but was not a student. Neely told police he had not taken anything, and when he was patted down all that was found was a Tennessee identification card. He didn't have a wallet. When police called Elia to see if the wallet was indeed missing from her purse, she told them it was. Neely was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital East.

After playing soccer at Echles field with his fraternity, Patrick Coode Jr. told police someone had stolen his wallet out of his shoe. He said he had left it there with his keys and a few other belongings while playing soccer. There are no suspects in the case. The estimated loss was $122.
