9:34 p.m.
Police responded to a suspicious person call made by Shivonne Bradley. She noticed a man wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and a black skullcap squatting behind a blue Kia.
She walked to the car, pretending it was her own, and acted like she was unlocking the door. She asked the unidentified man if he needed any help. She told the police the man responded with a firm "no," and ran north into a wooded area. After he left she found a license plate the man was apparently trying to steal, which she turned into a desk employee at the South Campus Recreation Center. The recovered license plate was registered to Nakita Jones. Jones identified the tag and it was released to her.

8:25 a.m.
Police noticed that a 1993 Grand Prix with Tennessee tags had a busted out driver's side window while on routine patrol. The officer noticed the car stereo had been stolen. Police located the owner of the Grand Prix who said nothing else was missing. The estimated loss totaled $350.

2:45 p.m.
When Nichole Clayborne arrived at her room in the West Hall dormitories she noticed some money and a First South bankcard had been stolen. She told police she left the items in a pair of pants that were in her room. When she went to retrieve the money and the card they weren't there.

11:20 a.m.
Police responded to call from a woman who reported vandalism to her car. She told police that she had parked her car in the Patterson visitors' lot and left. When she came back she saw that all four of her tires were flat. After having her car towed to a repair shop, she learned the tires had been punctured and were unfixable. The total cost was $328.

4:45 p.m.
Police responded to a burglary call in Richardson Towers. A student told police that her purse and bottles of perfume were taken out of her room. She told police she had locked her room before leaving her belongings.
Saturday, February 5
10:45 a.m.
Police received a call from a staff member in the Meeman Journalism building about vandalism. He told police a lock-trim and lock-cylinder had been removed from one of the entrance doors. There have been no reports of missing items from the building.
Sunday, February 6
5:35 p.m.
Police received a call from a student that said her 1993 Jeep was missing from lot 23 across from 446 Patterson where she had parked it. The police were unable to locate the vehicle. The total loss was about $8,000.

8:25 p.m.
Police received a vandalism call from a student in Richardson Towers. The officer saw that a 1985 Chevrolet Celebrity had its driver's door window broken. Although the student said nothing was missing from her car, the interior of the car was also damaged making the estimated loss approximately $200.
