I find it hypocritical when people say we should not be in thewar in Iraq and Bush is at fault and then say that Bush knew aboutthe coming attacks of 9/11 and did nothing about it. Which side ofthe fence are we on, doing something about the possible threat ofterrorism or ignoring it? The above crowd suggests we do both. Thatis unreasonable. If you were the president and your top adviserstold you there was evidence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraqand that Saddam is a threat to national security, what would youdo?
If you do nothing and something happens like 9/11 you'd becriticized. Ignore your top advisers and take a chance on gettingmillions of people killed.
People say there are no WMDs, but how many allies did Saddamhave in other countries? Bush gave him plenty of time to turn overand hide them underground or in other countries. If I were acriminal and were about to be charged with a murder and had beenwarned that I would be arrested by the Memphis police, I wouldimmediately get rid of the evidence. It is just as fair to assumeSaddam hid his weapons before we got to him so he would not getcaught with weapons. I also challenge every reader to research thefollowing www.fns.usda.gov/fsp/ and www.bls.gov. Look up under theresearch heading and compare the rate of unemployment and foodstamp assistance during the Clinton administration years againstthe Bush. Regardless, if you vote Democrat or Republican, comparethe facts.
Vote with knowledge not ignorance. News media don't alwaysreport accurately.
