If you are not aware, there is a serious problem among collegestudents and adults with body image and self-esteem.The commentsfrom the commentary "Lions, Tigers, and Republicans... Oh my!" onlyreinforce the message we are given all the time from society thatbeing thin, muscular and beautiful is the only thing of importance.The man you describe as being "fat" should be applauded for notbuying into society's messages and for having the guts to take offhis shirt and cheer. By the way, why is the school paper running anarticle chastising someone who supports the Tigers? You should bethanking them for the support and not worrying about how much a fanweighs.
