University of Memphis Police Services responded to a theft callat the Elma Roane Fieldhouse. According to the police report, DonnaRoland said that she placed her ID, wallet and keys on the northsteps of the Fieldhouse and went to the track area. When shereturned, her ID, wallet and keys were missing. She was advised tohave her room and vehicle re-keyed.

10:45 a.m.

U of M officers responded to a theft-from-motor vehicle call atRichardson Towers. According to the police report, Crystal D. Westsaid she parked her vehicle Sept. 17, and when she returned to itSept. 18, her backpack was missing from the back seat. Estimatedloss is $225.

10:45 p.m.

U of M officers responded to a theft-from-building-call at theHyper. According to the police report, Lashaela Sisco said herpurse was stolen from the women's locker room. Sisco said sheplaced her purse in the locker at 10 p.m. When she returned fiveminutes later, her purse was missing. Estimated loss is $150.

11:45 a.m.

Roosevelt Morris told officers he parked his vehicle in Lot 32on Patterson, Sept. 18 at 2:20 p.m. When he returned to his vehicleat 3:30 p.m., one of his Spintek Spinners was missing from theright front rim of his car. Estimated loss is $275.

1:20 p.m.

U of M officers responded to a theft-from-building call at 505Zach Curlin. According to the police report, Davis Dacus toldofficers he left his book bag unattended for about 10 minutesbecause it did not fit into the lockers provided by the UniversityBookstore. When he returned, his book bag and its contents weremissing. Estimated loss is $200.

4 p.m.

U of M officers responded to a theft-from-building call at theAdministration Building. According to the police report, CatherineSerex said that someone had entered her desk and $30 wasmissing.

Friday, Sept. 26, 2003

12:25 a.m.

U of M officers observed U of M student Rebekah L. Colemandriving a silver BMW northbound on the pedestrian sidewalk on thewest side of the University Center. According to the police report,Coleman made a turn next to a crowd of people and took off at ahigh rate of speed toward the Administration Building. She thendrove on the sidewalk and lawn near the south side of theAdministration Building. She was caught between Jones Hall and theAdministration Building and issued a citation for recklessdriving.
