Sport: Basketball Hometown: Memphis Class: Freshman A local talent who was able to walk on to The University of Memphissquad as a freshman, Wade led the city of Memphis in assists as asenior at Kingsbury High School, averaging 8.1 per game and 22.9points per game, he was also named to the Best of the Preps by TheCommercial Appeal. |

Sport: Football Hometown: New Orleans, Louisiana Class: Sophomore The heart and soul of Tiger football, Wimprine is the startingquarterback and set freshman records in 2001 for his 1,329 yardspassing, 102 completions and 14 touchdowns. His four touchdownpasses against Army tied the Tiger record for most in a singlegame. He tied for 29th place nationally in career touchdown passesby active players and will led the team through the 2002season. |
