The University of Memphis men's golf team moved up to sixthplace at the Conference USA championship tournament Wednesday inDade City, Fla.
The U of M posted a score of 298 which brings them to 25 overpar to move up one spot from yesterday's round at Lake Jovita golfcourse and country club.
Senior Alan Weant is the only Tiger in the individaul toptwenty. Weant is tied for tenth place with a second round score of72.
The Tigers are 16 strokes behind top scoring Texas ChristianUniversity.
South Florida, University of East Carolina and University ofCharlotte are within striking distance of The U of M. All are onestroke behind the Tigers with a 25 over.
The final round of the tournament will be played tomorrow.
