Telecommunication lines to several buildings on The University of Memphis campus and all buildings south of the railroad tracks and on South Campus were cut accidentally Wednesday afternoon around 1:30.
Physical Plant and Planning officials expect the damage to be repaired by today, but ask that employees call Telecommunications at 678-2999 if there are any more problems with phone lines.
The buildings north of the railroad tracks affected by the accident were Ball Hall, Life Sciences, Newport Hall, Robison Hall, Hayden Hall and Scates Hall.
