University of Memphis men’s soccer coach Richie Grant announced last week the signing of another top recruit to a National Letter of Intent for the 2002 season.
Grant has signed Daniel Ronan, a forward from Blanchardstown, Ireland, who played for Colaiste Ide. Ronan is the Tigers’ ninth signee for 2002 and the fifth from the Colaiste Ide program.
Grant said he expects Ronan to play a key role in the Tigers’ offense next season after the departures of all-time leading points scorer Sean Fraser and last season’s top assist man, Lars Thorstensen. Both players were seniors.
