Hernandez:“I think he made a good decision because he will get a chance to play professionally. He is gong to make millions of dollars. Why pass it up? I think he is ready. He can score whenever he wants to. He will be a hot commodity in the NBA.
Murphy: “I think he is leaving a year too early. He needs one more year to become what he wants to become. I wish him the best of luck, but I just hope he realizes he is not what everybody perceives him to be. He is not the next Allen Iverson.”
Chatman: “I think he proved himself this season. He carried the team. No, they didn’t go the NCAA Tournament, but that was not all Wagner’s fault. He has proved that he belongs in the NBA. He has nothing left to accomplish.”
Ford: “I think the first priority should be education, but it’s a job just like any other and he has the right to pursue it if he chooses.”
German: “If I were him, I would do the same thing.”
