One man’s junk is another man’s treasure, right? Well, even if it’s not treasure, somebody out there will pay a few bucks to take it off your hands.
Evidence of this is at Who Would Buy That?, an irreverent look at oddball Internet auction items.
Archives go back three months, but you don’t have to look long to find the goodies: A dress made from a potato sack (99 cents), Luis Gonzalez’s chewing gum ($3,295), and an 18-pound box of expired coupons ($3).
“World’s Proudest Son” even auctioned off his mom’s parenting advice (she’ll e-mail it to you) for a final bid of $610. The auction received 92 bids in one week.
Sounds like a steal to me.
