Dear Editor:
I am writing you concerning the article about Sister Souljah coming for Black History Month.
I believe that Black History Month is very important and that it should definitely be observed.
Although after reading the article about the "non-racist" Sister Souljah coming to speak I was appalled. I can't believe that student funds are being wasted on such a person.
I guess that maybe only white people can be racist or something but if a white person made those type of comments I would be disgusted with them coming as a speaker.
Maybe I am wrong and she really is a good person worthy of our time and money; so if this is felt to be true by others then I think that the students should see what we could do about getting JOHN ROCKER to come and give a speech about racial sensitivity for Black History Month.
