University of Memphis students won the College Bowl competition at the convention of the Tennessee Association of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists/Tennessee Audiology Association.
“It feels really good to bring home the trophy,” said Mandy Cerka, a member of the U of M team.
Graduate students Mandy Cerka, Katie Mullen and Mary Taylor went to Franklin, Tenn., Oct 11-13 to bring home the second consecutive victory at the College Bowl competition.
The U of M team competed against Vanderbilt University, Middle Tennessee State University and East Tennessee State University.
The team answered a series of questions similar to those on an audiology certification exam.
