Dear Editor:
The probate show for the ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Kappa Chapter, was scheduled for Friday, Sept. 14.
This day was also declared by President Bush as a National Day of Mourning. For this reason, the stepshow was cancelled.
Delta Sigma Theta sends our prayers to the families of all victims lost or injured in last Tuesday’s tragic events. We would like to apologize to everyone for any inconvenience as a result of cancelling the stepshow and thank everyone for their support and understanding at this time of crisis for our country.
There was a lot of hard work and long hours put into preparing for the stepshow, but the cause was far greater than our sacrifice. The stepshow will be rescheduled, but a date has not been set.
