Free lunches and variety are coming to a Tiger Dining location near you this week.
"Students have been asking for variety and it is now here," said Tiger Dining director Chuck Wigington. "We want to meet student needs -- we will now let students select a menu of what they want."
Wigington said students can now submit a menu of items they would like to see served by Tiger Dining.
"We will have a 'You Pick The Menu' contest each week, starting the week of March 19," Wigington said. "In the Tuesday issue of the Helmsman, students will be provided with a form to fill out listing the menu you want us to serve."
Wigington said students should fill out the form and post it on the Tiger Talk board located near Taco Bell in the Tiger Den.
"In the Thursday issue of the Helmsman, we will list the menu and the person who selected it," Wigington said. "We will provide lunch for two to the person submitting the winning menu."
The chosen menu will be featured that Friday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the Southern Market at the Tiger Den, Wigington said.
"It is all about variety," Wigington said. "We are trying to build excitement and bring new things to the campus."
"Entrees must be submitted by Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.," Wigington said. "Any questions, call me at Tiger Dining Services -- 678-3079."
