I'm writing in regard to Drew Pritt's "On The Journey" column. In his Wednesday column this week he made some remarks I find hard to swallow. Regardless of Drew's comment that he's "not going to shove a Bible down your throat", I think that's exactly what his Wednesday column did.
What about Muslims, Mormons, Catholics, Buddhists, Atheists, Wiccans, and Jews?
I think if Drew wants to talk about the importance of religion, he shouldn't make Christianity out to be the only choice.
I understand that Drew has his opinions, but I don't think he needs to be judging U of M students by saying things like "WAKE UP" and "I see so many of you walk through life without a clue".
This isn't Liberty University or Union University. Students at the U of M come from all kinds of religious backgrounds and Drew needs to realize that when he's writing his column.
Also, Drew's columns as a whole have been pretty bland and boring. How about mentioning some issues that affect the student body?
I don't care how many political campaigns Drew has worked for or his opinion on how "lost" he thinks non-Christians are.
What happened to Matt Presson's "The Dark Side"?
As controversial and annoying as some thought Matt was, I always found his column to have something interesting to say.
