The University of Memphis women's tennis team lost its two singles matches and one doubles match in the ITA Southeast Regional Nov. 4.
Freshman Sabrina Lindemann fell to top-seeded Janet Bergman of Wake Forest, 6-3, 6-1, in her opening round.
Senior Christina Ladyman won her opening round match 6-4, 6-1, against Christine Weber of Charlotte. Ladyman fell in the second round, Saturday, to No. 2 seed Kathy Sell from Duke, 6-2, 6-1. Ladyman was elimanated from last year's regional by Sell as well.
Lindemann and Ladyman also qualified for the main draw of the doubles tournament where they defeated UNC-Wilmington's Jacky Gibbons and Mandy Stanfield, 8-1 in their opening round.
But the Lady Tigers fell to the Kentucky team of Lauren Rookledge and Brooke Steen, the number 11 seed of the tournament, 8-0.
