An anonymous female reported drug and alcohol use in Robinson Hall.
When officers arrived at the room in question, they found no evidence of drugs or alcohol.
On Nov. 11, the anonymous female called again, identified herself and told police services she had made up the accusations.
The woman was informed by the officer that she could be charged with making a false report.
November 11, 2000
11:36 p.m.
Officers received a call from a student in Rawls Hall reporting a disturbance in front of her dorm room. The caller told the officer someone was beating on her door and making threats. The victim said the man walked up the stairs to her room without checking in at the front desk.
When the officers arrived on the scene the suspect was gone, but they met with the complainant, who said she knew the man and he had threatened her through the door. According to the report, the suspect returned to the dorm after the officers were gone and the resident advisor reported it.
The officers arrived at Rawls Hall again and gave the man a trespass warning, but released him. The complainant did not wish to prosecute.

6:51 p.m.
The Department of Public Safety responded to an assault report from Robinson Hall.
Officers met with the victim, who said a man came to his room and stated he was there to pick up his ex-girlfriend's car keys.
The victim said when he turned around to get the keys, the man entered the room and shut the door.
Then the man asked the victim questions about the woman and told the victim to stay away from her.
The victim told the suspect he would talk to him outside, but the suspect walked over to the him and said he was going to beat on him for a while.
Officers observed red marks and several bleeding scratches on the victim's face and neck. The victim said the suspect - whose name he did not know, though they had met once before - was the ex-boyfriend of the woman in question.
The victim said he tried to contact the woman, but was unable to reach her.
Officers advised the victim to get a warrant for the arrest of the suspect once he identified him.

9:43 p.m.
A woman in the Emma Roan Field House on Zach Curlin reported an assault.
According to the report, the woman was at the vending machine after her class when a man came around the corner and grabbed her buttocks and waist.
To defend herself, the victim threw her drink at the man and began yelling. The suspect fled the hallway before Police Services arrived. Officers were unable to find the suspect.
They got a tip from Richardson Towers South, but were still unable to find him.
November 14, 2000
7:15 p.m.
While on patrol, an officer was waved down on Midland Ave.
The officer was told about a man who was lying down on the side walk.
He found the man, who had an odor of alcohol on his breath, slurred speech, blood shot eyes and was unable to stand on his own.
The Memphis Fire Department was called to the scene to check the man, but he refused treatment.
The man was placed under arrest and transported to the Department of Public Safety office, from which the Memphis Police Department was called to transport him to 201 Poplar.
