Letter to the Editor: Coach Calipari sends his thanks

I want to thank all the students of the University of Memphis who attended our basketball game Friday night vs. Temple. It was one of the greatest college environments I've seen as a coach. Your enthusiasm was contagious to all of our fans in the Pyramid I have received calls from friends all over the country who watched us play and everyone commented on what a great student body we have at Memphis -- ESPN loved it and wants to do more games. Please take advantage of the free student parking on the St. Judes grounds at the comer of Third and N. Parkway. But more importantly take advantage of your tickets to Memphis Basketball games and let the country know who has the greatest students.
